"Under the Hood" improvements to the Authorize.net integration.
We've implemented tremendous upgrades to the Authorize.net integration with Legacy RaiseDonors. We’ve completely rewritten the integration from the ground up!
While this paves the way for some exciting new features, it also introduces a change we want to be sure you're aware of.
Previously we’ve only needed the API Transaction ID and Key to integrate with Authorize.net. Now we will also require the Public Client Key.
The good news: you don’t need to do anything. We’ve already auto-magically retrieved this securely from Authorize.net for you. But we want to be sure you understand that Legacy RaiseDonors now requires all three pieces of information to operate correctly (API Transaction ID, Key, and the Public Client Key).
If you reset the Public Client Key for any reason, you'll want to be sure to also supply the new value in Legacy RaiseDonors. Without that key, your donation pages won't be able to process gifts.
This change is necessary to set the stage for what’s coming next. New features like PayPal, Apple Pay, and more will be coming to Legacy RaiseDonors in the coming year.
Bug fixes and small additions
- Dramatically improved internal queue system that sends out receipts and notifications to donors.
- Fixed a bug with embedded forms where a declined transaction message was appearing twice.
- Added ability to view your Legacy RaiseDonors invoices/receipts directly in Stripe.
