What Types of Emails Can Legacy RaiseDonors Send to Admins at my Organization? – RaiseDonors

As an admin, you're able to enable notifications of recurring gift schedules created, edited or canceled, payment dispute notifications, integration errors.

This is in addition to receiving copies of all emails (bcc) that Legacy RaiseDonors sends to your donors which includes Thank You emails, Recurring Donation Thank You emails, Tribute Gifts, and Upcoming Payment emails.

Recurring Gift Schedules

In Legacy RaiseDonors, admin can be notified for newly created, deleted, and updated recurring schedules, and for successful and failed donations.

In the Outgoing Emails tab under System Settings, you'll find options to create Recurring donor notifications. Enabling these notifications allows admin on your team to be notified anytime a recurring schedule is created, updated/edited, suspended, or deleted. For example, if a donor's recurring charge fails, and the schedule is paused, enabling Updated recurring schedules will notify your team.

Payment Disputes

Once a donor initiates a dispute, your organization will receive an email from Legacy RaiseDonors with a link to the dispute in Legacy RaiseDonors and a PDF of the receipt as a download in the email.

In order to set these notifications, navigate to Notifications under System Settings. Enter the email(s) you wish to be notified under Payment Disputes.

Integration Errors

If there are any errors or unsuccessful integrations, you are able to set notifications for your admin. These are integrations that have failed and need to be addressed.

In order to set these notifications, navigate to Notifications under System Settings. Enter the email(s) you wish to be notified under Unsuccessful Integrations.

Receiving Copies of Donor Emails

Your admin are also able to receive copies of the Thank you emails, recurring donation Thank You emails, Tribute Gift emails, and Upcoming Payment reminder emails that are automatically sent to donors. This will include any failed transactions too.

In order to ensure your admin receive Recurring donor notification and Recurring receipt copied emails, navigate to Outgoing Emails. You'll need to Enable each of these notifications and enter the email addresses below each.

One Time Thank You Emails

In order to ensure your admin receive copies of Thank You emails from one time gifts, navigate to the Confirmation tab on your Page editor.

Under the email editor, you'll find a field to include the email addresses of your admin who should receive the copy of these Thank You emails.

Tribute Gifts

In order to ensure your admin receive copies of Tribute Gift emails, navigate to the Details tab on your Page editor.

Under Page Options, you'll find the option to Allow donors to dedicate their gift in honor/memory of someone. If enabled, include the admin email addresses who should be notified.

Upcoming Payment Reminders

In order to ensure your admin receive copies up early notification of Upcoming Payments emails, navigate to Notifications under System Settings. There you'll find the option to Schedule early notifications. Include the admin emails below to receive these copies.
