In addition to providing your donors with the ability to manage their recurring gifts and contact information, your Donor Portal also provides you with the opportunity to provide custom content to your donors. You can provide news and announcements, file downloads, images, videos, downloads... really, you can communicate whatever is best!
In addition to all this, you can also provide an opportunity for your donors to give a new donation. Not only that, you can easily pre-populate all of their personal information on the form.This is accomplished by adding a simple parameter to the end of your donation page URL.
The Parameter:
REPLACE_FULL_DONOR_INFO_ENCRYPTED
How it works:
- Let's say your donation page is raisedonors.com/orgname/donate
- From within the Donor Portal, you would create a link to this page like this:
- raisedonors.com/orgname/donate?REPLACE_FULL_DONOR_INFO_ENCRYPTED
That will create a link to your donation page with all of the donor's contact information fully encrypted. The donor would just need to enter their payment information and the donation is complete!
Keep in mind that you can also add additional parameters to the URL. So if you wanted to add a motivation code, Google UTM code, or any other supported parameter you could do that too!
